On 15 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 36,882 ordinary shares at a price of 166.84p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,845,658 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,737,544 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
