On 15 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 3,190 ordinary shares at a price of 173.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,503,799 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,079,403 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
