On 17 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,000 ordinary shares at a price of 176.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,504,799 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,078,403 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
