On 13 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 34,797 ordinary shares at a price of 175.87p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,098,111 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,322,133 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
