On 15 January 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 30,000 ordinary shares at a price of 167.68p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,674,025 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,909,177 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
