On 17 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of 176p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,881,259 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,317,133 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
