On 14 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 19,961 ordinary shares at a price of 185.35p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,081,052 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,502,150 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
