On 21 January 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 14,549 ordinary shares at a price of 166.81p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,187,519 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,395,683 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
