On 13 November 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,000 ordinary shares at a price of 173.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,990,218 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,592,984 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
