On 14 July 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 32,628 ordinary shares at a price of 199.93p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 5,769,011 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 97,814,191 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
