On 18 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,378 ordinary shares at a price of 184.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,090,773 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,492,429 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
