On 19 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 15,765 ordinary shares at a price of 184.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,106,538 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,476,664 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
