On 20 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 12,927 ordinary shares at a price of 184.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,119,465 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,463,737 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
