On 21 March 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 18,196 ordinary shares at a price of 180.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,460,957 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,122,245 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
