On 19 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 346 ordinary shares at a price of 169.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,873,723 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,709,479 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
