On 2 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 181.11p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,388,188 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,195,014 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
