On 22 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,351 ordinary shares at a price of 184.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,132,832 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,450,370 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
