On 3 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 11 ordinary shares at a price of 181.00p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,589,609 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,993,593 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
