On 6 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,652 ordinary shares at a price of 181.61p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,591,261 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,991,941 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
