On 29 March 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 500 ordinary shares at a price of 179.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,686,124 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,897,078 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
