On 19 July 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,500 ordinary shares at a price of 203p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 5,817,043 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 97,766,159 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
