On 7 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 38,181 ordinary shares at a price of 182.73p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,629,442 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,953,760 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
