On 25 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 53,815 ordinary shares at a price of 174.85p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,019,225 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,563,977 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
