On 26 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 54,243 ordinary shares at a price of 177.19p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,073,468 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,509,734 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
