On 4 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 6,749 ordinary shares at a price of 177.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,444,937 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,138,265 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
