On 4 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 34,562 ordinary shares at a price of 168.83p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,675,649 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,907,553 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
