On 5 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 59,951 ordinary shares at a price of 168.99p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,735,600 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,847,602 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
