On 1 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 102,902 ordinary shares at a price of 181.30p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,871,072 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,712,130 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
