On 27 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 3,510 ordinary shares at a price of 181.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,136,342 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,446,860 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
