On 10 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 27,637 ordinary shares at a price of 182.01p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,661,189 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,922,013 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
