On 13 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 14,114 ordinary shares at a price of 181.85p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,675,303 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,907,899 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
