On 9 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,082 ordinary shares at a price of 164.74p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,786,576 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,796,626 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
