On 10 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 20,637 ordinary shares at a price of 165.59p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,807,213 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,775,989 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
