On 14 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 118,779 ordinary shares at a price of 179.95p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,794,082 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,789,120 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
