On 15 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 83,885 ordinary shares at a price of 180.87p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,877,967 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,705,235 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
