On 13 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 32,738 ordinary shares at a price of 236.85p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,350,869 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,232,333 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
