On 14 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 24,213 ordinary shares at a price of 237.54p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,375,082 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,208,120 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
