On 21 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 26,030 ordinary shares at a price of 177.80p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,915,935 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,667,267 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
