On 10 May 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 860 ordinary shares at a price of 179.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,236,648 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,346,554 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
