On 19 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 105 ordinary shares at a price of 229.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,512,935 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,070,267 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
