On 16 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 100,054 ordinary shares at a price of 238.8p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,483,212 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,099,990 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
