On 20 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 15,200 ordinary shares at a price of 237.76p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,569,152 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,014,050 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
