On 26 August 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,531 ordinary shares at a price of 207p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,101,368 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 97,481,834 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
