On 22 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 53,024 ordinary shares at a price of 233.06p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,622,176 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,961,026 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
