On 26 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 8,925 ordinary shares at a price of 233.96p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,649,565 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,933,637 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
