On 4 November 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1024 ordinary shares at a price of 207.00p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,658,365 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,924,837 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
