On 28 June 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 131,354 ordinary shares at a price of 184.78p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 5,205,111 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 98,378,091 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
