On 18 January 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 131 ordinary shares at a price of 225.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,838,807 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,744,395 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
