On 30 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,649 ordinary shares at a price of 234.8p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,676,214 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,906,988 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
