On 9 November 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,161 ordinary shares at a price of 211.01p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,690,315 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,892,887 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
